Classic Double Room
There are 4 Classic Double rooms. Three of them are log cabins which form a wing alongside the courtyard in front of the hotel; the other is in the main hotel building.
The Chaplin Room (in the hotel) is situated at the rear of the building, overlooking the rear of the property. The famous film star stayed in this room in the 1970s! It is a spacious room with a double bed and a TV.
Suilven, An Teallach and Stac Pollaidh Rooms (named after famous mountains in the area) can all be set up as double or twin-bedded rooms. Their roofs are turf-covered – an early example of eco-friendly insulation! Suilven and Stac Pollaidh have normal bathrooms with showers over the bath; An Teallach is specially adapted to be wheel-chair-friendly and has a walk-in shower with a wet-room floor – see photo below. We strive to make these rooms as eco-friendly as possible and being at one with nature’s peace and quiet these rooms do not feature televisions, nor do they have a view of the sea.
